Harley-Davidson Sportster is the longest continually produces motorcycles in the HD lineup. Harley Sportster XL first, with 55 cubic inch, four-stroke engine and four-speed transmission, introduced in 1957. Sportster Motor Company is powered by a rubber-mounted 883cc or 1200cc Evolution V-Twin engine mounted in a frame, narrow nimble. With a low sticker price and easy handling characteristics, the Sportster is often used by motorcyclists entry level and is the gateway to the ownership of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
